About Bill Lee
Bill Lee Bill Lee was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has won four international awards for cartoon artwork in magazines, was among the first cartoonists contacted for the newly-created New York Times op-ed page, and was one of the first journalists allowed into China at the opening of that country. Bill has had gallery exhibitions of paintings and sculptures and has done a screenplay for CBS, plus seven collections of cartoon art in humor books. He has traveled--writing and drawing--to China, Russia, Poland, Cuba, and beyond. Bill has covered three political conventions and gives lectures and slideshows on humor in cartoon art. Bill has a daughter, Jennifer Catherine, and his hobbies are relaxing with a drink and music that ranges somewhere in between Hank Williams and Mozart.
